As a consequence of the suspected high infection rate of the coronavirus among players, as well as a method to prevent the further spread of the illness, the Russian Ice Hockey Federation has taken the decision to postpone the first stage of the Russian championship among female junior players under the age of 18.

The tournament was originally scheduled to take place between the 1st and 9th of October 2020. New dates concerning the staging of the tournament will be released in due course.
