2020 Youth Olympic Games. Russia U16 - Finland U16

In the semi-final of the 2020 Youth Olympic Games, the under 16 Russian national team will compete against Finland.

In the first game of the group stage, Russia thrashed Canada 6:2, as Matvey Michkov (2), Vyacheslav Malov (2), Ruslan Gazizov and Ilya Kvochko scored. Yesterday, our players then clinched a comfortable 9:0 win over Denmark, with Michkov scoring four goals, Ivan Miroshnichenko grabbing a hat-trick and Kvochko and Kirill Dolzhenkov also ethcing their names on the scoreboard.

Finland, for their part, emerged from Group B in second place, losing 5:7 to the USA before defeating Switzerland 2:1 in dramatic circumstances. 

Puck drop is scheduled for 16:00 Moscow time.
